Power or Procrastination …

In the past few weeks, all of us have made some powerful commitments, right? Losing weight, waking up earlier, earning more, staying on schedule…

So, whatever you committed to yourself as that clock struck midnight on December 31st, where are you today with those commitments? What specifically have you gotten into action on?

Remember, all of the commitments we have made for the new year are disciplines and ideas that we believe will lead us to a more fulfilling life. If we want things to change, we have to be the catalyst and make the change happen.

Think about that US Airways flight pilot that successfully landed in the Hudson River Thursday. Where was his mind and commitments as he was guiding down an enormous plane filled with more that 150 people? There was no procrastination in his mind- he had a goal, stayed 100% focused on the goal he needed to hit and landed that plane safely in the water. Pretty amazing what our minds can do when we are committed right?

Ask yourself, did I start today with power or procrastination? When that alarm clock went off, did I hit snooze or did I bounce out of bed, excited to attack the day? Power or procrastination … it’s the name of the game!

Think about this … where do you truly want to be?

Talk to you soon,

Tom
